St Columba Lutheran Church in Scotland

Welcome to the St. Columba Lutheran Church Website

Representing the Lutheran Church in Scotland

We are a small and friendly Christian congregation in East Kilbride, Scotland which happily engages in the old historic mission: 'To share with one another and take into our community the Good News of the Saving love of God in Jesus Christ'.

Some of those who attended our Christmas Day morning service 2009.

There is a service every Sunday morning at 11.00 a.m.
The form of worship is based upon the traditional liturgical services used historically by Lutherans, but also shared by most other Christians. We use the new LSB and NIV. Please visit us soon, and may the endless love of God be with you!

Lord's Supper / Holy Communion - First Sunday of each month

Bible Study and discussion - held either in the church or in a member's home in Livingston; please contact the Chairman for details.

Ladies' Guild - Last Monday of each Month 7:30pm - 9pm

Christ hath our host surrounded With clouds of martyrs bright,
Who wave their palms in triumph, and fire us for the fight.
For Christ the cross ascended To save the world undone,
And suffering for the sinful, Our full redemption won.
By St. Columba (521-597 A.D.)
